Dale W. Conrad
Mr. Conrad founded Government Payment Service, Inc. in 1997 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board. Dale has over 40 years of experience working both in and for the government at all levels—local, state and federal. He built the company from a small business into a nationally recognized name in government payment processing.
E. Miles Kilburn
Mr. Kilburn is a founding partner of Mosaik Partners, LLC, an investment banking advisory firm focused on financial technology with a particular focus on emerging payments companies. He is also a private investor with a similar focus and serves as the Chairman of the Boards at Global Cash Access, Inc. (NYSE: GCA), and at Clearent, LLC. Mr. Kilburn is also a Director/investor at Aliaswire, Inc., Andera, Inc., Nvoicepay, Inc., and Access Information Holdings, LLC. Mr. Kilburn previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Concord EFS, Inc. (NYSE: CE). He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Primary Payment Systems, Inc. (now Early Warning), and Group Executive Vice President, CFO and General Counsel of Star Systems, Inc. Mr. Kilburn began his career as an attorney with Skaddan Arps focusing on securities law and mergers and acquisitions and holds a BA in business administration from the University of Washington and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law.
Fred C. Lane
Mr. Lane is the Vice Chairman of Investment Banking for Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. Previously, Fred was the CEO and Founding Partner of Lane, Berry and Co. International. Fred was also a Managing Director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, as well as of Credit Suisse First Boston upon its acquisition of DLJ. The founder of DLJ's first regional investment banking office in Boston in 1980, he spent more than half of his career in New York, where he served on the Firm's Equity Underwriting, Banking Review and Fairness and Valuation Committees. From 1989 to 1995, he was Co-Head of DLJ's Mergers and Acquisitions Department. An active private equity investor, he has extensive experience with growth companies which have combined organic growth with growth through acquisitions. Fred received his BA, Cum Laude, from Harvard College in 1971, and his MBA, With Distinction, from Harvard Business School in 1973.
Associate, Credit Suisse Private Equity
Mr. MacKenzie brings more than 25 years of business leadership, financial services best practices and industry relationships to his role as GovPayNet’s Chief Executive Officer. He has broad experience in developing and managing both domestic and global payment businesses -including the formulation of integrated business plans, designing and sourcing appropriate business infrastructure, building highly motivated and successful sales and client relationship teams, competitive positioning, and full P&L responsibility. Mr. MacKenzie’s past work includes President at JP Morgan Electronic Financial Services, Managing Director and Senior Vice President at JP Morgan Treasury Services. In addition to JP Morgan, he has served as President, Chairman and CEO for Citicorp Electronic Financial Services, Inc. As GovPayNet’s CEO, he is responsible for developing the company’s long-range strategic roadmap, building industry alliances and overseeing GovPayNet’s product and technology development process. As CEO, MacKenzie also spearheads the company’s organic growth and facilitates mergers and acquisitions that enable GovPayNet to expand its depth of services. Mr. MacKenzie holds an MBA from DePaul University at Chicago and a BA in Business Administration and Economics from St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN.
